Dinner is served shortly after take-off. | | Day 2 | Galway | Dublin - Galway : Early morning arrival at Dublin Airport. Our driver/ guide greets us as we exit Irish customs and escorts us to our awaiting motorcoach. Leaving the airport we head across the central plains of Ireland to Galway. Our drive takes us through County Kildare, Westmeath and along the borders of Offaly and Roscommon. The towns on our route include Kinnegad, Athlone on the River Shannon and Ballinasloe. We arrive into Galway in the late morning. Check into our hotel where we are free to rest, relax or independently explore. Dinner and overnight in Galway. | | Day 3 | Limerick | Galway - Cliffs of Moher - Limerick : Today, after a hearty Irish breakfast, we drive along Galway Bay through the charming villages of Kinvara and Ballyvaughan and the coast line of County Clare. A visit to the mighty Cliffs of Moher. Continue on through the seaside resort of Lahinch which its great natural golf links; inland via the market town of Ennis and then south to historic Limerick. Limerick is a bustling city situated at the mouth of the mighty Shannon River. Before checking into our hotel, see reminders of its historic past, King John's Castle, the Treaty Stone and its fine monuments and Georgian squares. Dinner and overnight in Limerick. | | Day 4 | Killarney | Limerick - Killarney : Leaving Limerick today we travel via the old world village of Adare known for it's gentle ruins and thatched cottages. Onto the Limerick coast we travel to the town of Foynes. Foynes gained prominence as the transatlantic stop for the fi rst seaplane service between the U.S. and Europe. Our visit includes a tour of the Flying Boat Museum and the Boeing 314 "Yankee Clipper." Irish coffee was first introduced here in 1942 by the restaurant Chef Joe Sheridan. Our route takes us via the market towns of Newcastle West, Abbeyfeale and Castleisland to the beauty and charm of Killarney town. Check into our hotel, where we are free to rest, relax or independently explore. Dinner and overnight at our Killarney hotel. | | Day 5 | Killarney | Killarney - Ring of Kerry - Killarney : Today, we depart on one of Ireland's most popular and beautiful drives, the Ring of Kerry. Traveling from Killarney we come to the town of Killorglin, famous for "Puck Fair," and from here we commence the ring tour. Our drive is along the coastline of the broad Iveragh Peninsula, through the towns of Glenbeigh, Cahirciveen, Waterville and Sneem. The scenery is spectacular as wind-swept cliffs, still lakes, lost valleys and rocky mountains blend in awesome beauty. As one looks around it is easy to agree with the old Irish saying, "Even if a man has only a small bit of earth here, he has a lot of the heavens." From Sneem, we continue via "Ladies View" back to Killarney. Dinner and overnight at our Killarney hotel. | | Day 6 | Dublin | Killarney - Cashel - Dublin : After breakfast we bid farewell to Killarney's lakes and fells and board our coach and travel eastward into County Cork and along the River Blackwater, through Mallow and Cashel, we see the mighty Rock, ancient seat of the High Kings of Munster. On through the counties of Laois and Kildare into Dubllin. Tonight we will enjoy dinner and Irish entertainment at the Merry Ploughboy Pub. Overnight at our Dublin Hotel. | | Day 7 | Dublin | ST. PATRICK'S DAY! : After breakfast, we are transferred to the parade route where we can enjoy the festivities.
